These are the photos taken by "professional" Disney photographers. We paid in advance for the CD with all the images and with a pre-order discount it was $99. The service itself is free but you pay for the images or printed copies and that part is pricey!
You'll notice there are several photos of general Disney stuff; characters, landscape, attractions, etc. These are not unique to our vacation. These are standard photos added based on when you were there and where your pics were taken. The copywrite release for our photos does apply to these "extras" as well though.
We made a point of stopping at any and every photographer we found to make sure we got the most for our buck. It was really nice to not be the one always taking the photos and thus never being in them! The photos aren't what I would consider creative or even great pictures but, that's a tough thing to accomplish with 2 toddlers. I will say, in past years when we've had our picture taken by Disney photographers they put us in much more creative poses and/or added Disney characters to the poses. I'll be asking for more of that next time. A lot of the photos did turn out really cute though and I'm so happy to have so many group shots to choose from! And, yes, we would definitely pay for this again.
